What does the Text Ad exchange do? As a w3exit.com member, you can exchange text ads with other member sites. Since w3exit members are all webmaster-related sites, you can be sure that every click you get is highly targeted. How can I sign up? If you are already a w3exit member with a valid username, you can begin exchanging text ads by logging into your account for the exchange code. There's no separate sign up or login as the text ad exchange is integrated with the popunder exchange. Is this free? Yes. No strings attached. What advantages does the text ad exchange offer me? Text ads are easy to create and the results can be measured instantly. There is no need to spend money designing banners or thinking about which designs to use. With text ads, you can also experiment with different ad copies and headlines to find out what works and what don't work. What are the type of text ads available and how many credits can I earn?
We have 7 text Ad Units for your selection depending on what sizes of ads you wish to show. The smallest Ad Unit is the Square button at 125 x 125 pixels. The recommended Ad Units are the Leaderboard at 728 x 90 or the Wide Skyscraper at 160 x 600. With the Leaderboard and Wide Skyscraper, you are able to earn more credits per impression. They allow you to earn 2.5 to 3 credits compared to the 0.5 credit per Square Button impression. Sample Ad Units can be view here What is the text ad exchange ratio? The default exchange ratio is 2:1. However if your all-time clickthru rate falls below 0.2%, your exchange ratio falls to 3:1. If your site clickthru exceeds 0.35%, your exchange ratio is increased to 3:2 With a 3:2 ratio, you earn 2 credits for every 3 ads displayed. This better ratio is to encourage members to place the text ads at better locations on their site. Better placement = Higher clickthru = Higher exchange ratio! How many text Ad Units can I display per page? You may display one of each type of Ad Unit per page. For example, you may wish to use a combination of 1 Leaderboard and 1 Wide Skyscraper for all of your pages. Do not use too many types of Ad Units per page as that may dilute your overall site clickthru - which dampens your exchange ratio! Test to find the best positions for displaying the text ads. Recommended positions are the top folds of web pages. How can I earn maximum credits? 1. You should add the text ads to every page on your site. 2. You should use the Leaderboard or Wide Skyscraper on your pages to show the maximum ads per impression. Can I use other text ad exchanges? Yes. But you'll discover that w3exit.com text ads perform the best as the ads reach highly targeted audience only compared to general traffic exchanges. You'll do better if you just stick to w3exit text ads. Can I display my text ad codes on other websites that I own? You will need to email us and seek prior approval before using the code on other sites. The general rule of thumb is that the code may only be used on good quality webmaster-related sites only. Displaying your codes on un-related sites will only dampen clickthru and give you a poorer exchange ratio! Can I simply reload my web page to earn more credits? No. The system will not register duplicate impressions. Excessive reloading will also trigger our anti-cheat mechanisms. Can I turn off cookies and cheat more credits? No. All visitors' IP addresses are logged by our system and filtered by our anti-cheat mechanisms. If excessive or abnormal activities are detected by a certain IP address or block of IP addresses, our technicians are paged and offending accounts are banned permanently. All credits earned are forfeited.
